It was sitting on the river bank and it was in a tree well I was walking the river bake at my GMA gpa

Your canoe made it to the Atlantic Ocean!! I was walking on the beach at low tide, and there it was! I used to be a Marine Science teacher at Wrightsville Beach Elementary School, so this was a very special find for me. I’m so happy that students like you are learning about watersheds, rivers, and oceans. This is an awesome project!!

Hello. We found your sweet canoe in the Atlantic Ocean in Wrightsville Beach NC The picture shows the famous Johnnie Mercer Pier behind us! We took it to the end of the pier and launched it so it can continue on its journey! We are from Long Island NY and hope we see her again at a beach along the coast of NY!! Great job on the craftsmanship of your canoe!! Thank you for bringing joy to our day!!

Hi there ! I work at St. Andrews lock and dam. I found your canoe while clearing debris out on our barge. I took it for a tug boat ride back to shore. Then did a quick portage over the dam, then down the shore just north of the flood way spill way, and sent it back on its way. Best of luck on the journey. I hope it makes it to Churchill to see the belugas, and maybe even a Greenland shark like you had hoped ! Thanks for making my day !

The canoe was laying on its side, it reminded me of a norther pike. I was fishing the river with my new Tenkara fishing rod.

This canoe was found during a Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Fish Survey as part of our Large River Monitoring efforts. The canoe was found washed up on the bank near Oslo MN.

We found this while electrofishing the river to study fish (I am a scientist studying river ecosystems and biology). It was on the bank right by where we found a really big fish about 8 miles downstream of Grand Forks. Stay curious about science and ask smart people silly questions!

I initially found the canoe on the Red River of the North 8 miles downstream of Grand Forks. I will take it with me out to the Atlantic Ocean when I travel to Wilmington, NC this August.

Yes, it was at the Midtown dam, and I relaunched it. It was by the shoreline, of course, trying to get through, I will relaunch its heading to the north dam in fargo

It was sunk in the mud underneath the Georgetown bridge, we relaunched it later that evening! Good luck

We found it fishing on the red river in East Grand Forks. We’re releasing the canoe back into the river so she can continue on her journey. (First our guinea pig, Bungi, wanted to check out your cool canoe). Good luck!!
