It was a warm spring day when May the canoe began her journey in May of 2026. May was going to be thrown in the Wild Rice River behind the shooting star casino in Mahnomen Minnesota. May was decorated with lots of color and designs so that animals and people could see her. Once her owner got one last look of her she got thrown into the Wild Rice River. SPLASH May began her journey down the river. In the beginning May was flowing down the river peacefully in the cool water. She saw ducks fish and geese swimming with her. May ran into a few waves that kind of sent her in a different direction. She would quickly get back on track. As May continued traveling the river began to get bigger. She then got caught in a pile of sticks near a dock. Soon after a hiker found her and helped her continue her journey. May went through many seasons alone in the water. She went down rivers lakes and waterfalls courageously. She experienced many different unique and mesmerizing species. Although it was a long and tough journey May eventually made it to her finish line the ocean.
