It was an ordinary spring day when the little canoe named Sunny was thrown into the Wild Rice River behind the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen Minnesota. SPLASH Sunny had been launched into the river with a splash Sunny was determined to get on the move quickly. The first thing Sunny saw was a forest with birds chirping. Tweet tweet tweet the little birds were singing a sweet melody. By now sunny the canoe had already traveled 75 miles from the launch spot. Sunny was starting to feel tired from paddling but Sunny thought to herself I cant give up. Sunny decided to keep pushing and started to paddle faster so she could feel like she was flying on the water. Sunny was cruising until she came ahead and saw a massive beaver sitting on a huge beaver dam blocking the pathway of the river. Sunny started to panic. Out of the corner of her eye she saw an opening on the sidethat was it Sunny was determined to fit through the opening. She made it through safely and sound. Sunny had traveled hundreds of miles and she was exhausted and tired of paddling. Sunny looked ahead of her and saw a huge body of water It was Hudson Bay Hudson Bay was the spot where Sunny wanted to end up after her journey. Sunny's journey is now over. Sunny hopes she has many more adventures to come.
