I love to travel and my canoe does too. My canoe will start in the La Salle River and join up with the Red River later that day. It will have a great float through Winnipeg and it will see many people as it passes by the historic Forks. I hope that my canoe enjoys many beautiful sunsets as it makes it way to Lake Winnipeg. If it gets stuck on it's journey north I hope a kind person or animal will help to set it free again. I want my canoe to be a resting place for tired insects like dragonflies butterflies bees and more I want my canoe to see speed boats and kayaks and other canoes. I hope that it meets a playful otter and becomes friends with a solitary moose. I want my canoe to find peace in the stillness and the joy in the rain. I hope it sees the milky way shooting stars and northern lights dance across the sky. And I hope that my canoe makes it all the way to Hudson Bay. I cannot wait to see the pictures people post and read about all about my canoe's adventure.
