As I fling Atlanta into the WildRice River I close my eyes and hope that he makes it to the Atlantic Ocean. The brave little boat Atlanta makes a big splash as he hits the water. Atlanta topples over and over again until he finally stays up right in the water. Along his first few hours Atlanta sees people fishing. At first he doesnt pay much attention to them as he floats away. Smack Atlanta hits a beaver dam even though it was the fourth hour from launch. Atlanta stayed there for a year until he heard a creak from the dam breaking apart. Atlanta dodged six logs another one came out of nowhere but Atlanta swung to the side just in time. After a while he saw a red fox chasing a cottontail rabbit. A while later Atlanta sees a Northern Pike swimming right next to him. All of a sudden a bobcat scoops him out of the water and brings him to her bobkittens to eat. Soon the cubs realized that Atlanta wasnt food so they started whining then the mother bobcat took Atlanta back to the river except that it wasnt his river it was Lake Winnipeg. A week later Atlanta sees a Northern Sawwhet owl in its nest resting. Atlanta gets caught in a fishing net. A fisherman named Jonas saw a glimpse of the little boat. Jonas got Atlanta out of the net. Jonas gave the little boat a new coat of paint and a new rudder. Jonas also engraved where he found Atlanta and where Atlanta came from. Jonas threw the new little boat back into the water but he wasnt in Lake Winnipeg anymore he was in the Nelson river. A month later Atlanta floats his way into Hudson Bay where he will make his way to the Atlantic Ocean. Here he will travel the world peacefully.
