Hello I'm Emerald and I was put into the Wild Rice River in Mahnomen Minnesota. My dream is to make it to at least Lake Winnepeg. On the way of my journey I saw people walking on a bridge and kids riding on bikes. I even saw a birthday party. Now I'm in Fargo. I saw dragonflies butterflies and at night I saw an owl. The wol hooted and soon I started to drift to sleep. Then I woke up and the warm sun glistened in the water. On the way I saw a beave. The beaver was building a dam. I listened to the birds chip it sounded beavutiful. I was in love with the sound. It was so peaceful. I'm in Grand Forks People are smiling laughing and they were so happy On the way through I saw deer drinking out of the water. I heard cows mooing. I closed my eyes because I was so full of joy. But I woke up it was still dark.....Soon rain started falling on me. I heard thunder lightning and the wind was blowing hard. I closed my eyes very tight. I woke up. I'm in Canada I'm filled with relief. Very glad I'm halfway there. I was exhausted. I saw flowers in the water they were so pretty Some were blue purple pink and yellow. I closed my eyes and took a little nap. I think I'm almost to Lake Winnipeg wish me luck
