Canoe #26RD0587
I decided to name my canoe Garfield Mckitte because he likes the Garfield movie and his family is crazy. First I placed Garfield in the Red River in East Grand Forks Minnesota on a rainy day. He went on a small but big trip for 20 days until something happened. A beaver put Garfield in his dam for two days. Then Garfield finally got out and went back on track for two days. It was a nice day until it started to rain. Then Garfield went flying. He washed up in a forest. The lake was only ten feet away. Garfield knew he had to think of some ideas. But then he saw a deer. His first thought was that the deer was going to eat him. But then the deer saw him and got scared and kicked Garfield so now Garfield is back on track. Next he has to get past the big rocks. He was scared but then he did it. It was not that bad. He wanted to do it again but he had to get back on track. Next Garfield saw a storm coming. He was sacred. Then he saw a hole in the tree. So he waited for a big wave. So the wave can give him a big push. Now he is in the tree hole. But then Garfield saw a squirrel and his family. He was scared. But they were very nice. By morning Garfield was back on track. He was near lake Michigan. It started to get very cold so Garfield got cold. And now Garfield floated to a village where he saw a little girl and her dad. The little girl picked Garfield up and showed her dad. Her dad said Put that back in the water. So the little girl put Garfeild back in the water. Then Garfield floated for 50 more days and woke up in the middle of nowhere. Then he saw memories flash before his eyes. Then he looked around and saw that he was in Lake Winnipeg. He was so happy that he thought his dream might come true to make it to Hudson Bay. He was happy for the next 40 days. Until it got too hot and he was sad. But then he looked around and he saw that he was near Hudson Bay. Then he looked around and he was at Hudson Bay.
