So my journey began after I got launched. We started going pretty fast but there was a large rock right in front of me and I ran right into the rock. Crack The front of me got a little chipped but its all fine. Some of the other canoes got flipped over and some were going really fast too. Even one of the canoes went right next to a family of ducks. Its been a couple of hours now and we are somewhere in the country. Im guessing its Beltrami but Im not sure. AHHHHH There is a huge slimy dead fish right in front of me. Thankfully it moved. Phew After that I started going down the river very fast and smoothly. It was so peaceful and I loved the sound of the birds chirping. By now Im in Climax and things are still peaceful. My paint is starting to come off and its fall so there are so many beautiful orange red and yellow leaves in the river. Some are stuck on my canoe but it looks like a pretty decoration to me. Help there are people coming It looks like a little girl and her parents. Her parents looked at me and said that they are going to their house to repaint me and fix me up. Their car is pretty nice it's a total upgrade from the river. Once we got to their house her dad brought me down to the basement and left me on a work desk. Its been a couple days now and no one has touched me. There was light coming through the door and the little girl came down the stairs. She grabbed me and brought me upstairs and asked her dad why I was in the basement. He said I forgot about her. We can paint her today if youd like. She said yes and asked him to paint me pink. After I got painted he set me down to dry. It took a while to dry. After I dried the dad brought me back to the Red River where I caught up to the other canoes I was back on track. After a while we saw some birds in the sky deer in the woods and a lot of fish along the way. Ive been realizing that it has been getting really cold out and I got scared. The water now turned to ice and I got stuck. Its been about three days and Im still stuck. I feel like Im losing hope. There has been no one around. I dont see any other canoes. I almost lost hope until an old lady came and got me out of the water She brought me into her car and brought me into her small house where she kept me until winter was over. Now its spring and the old lady read the note on the bottom and brought me to Grand Forks. Right when I got into the water it started pretty slow and got faster by the second. I saw one canoe and wasnt sure who it was. Right at that moment I saw a gigantic black BEAR It started to chase me and that made waves come but it made me go faster. By that time I had to be at the Pembina Border. That means that we are almost in Canada At the moment I felt a breath of relief. But that bear was still chasing me I forgot about him for a moment and now hes pretty close. How do I get rid of him Phew Thank goodness Ive lost him. I think Im close to Hudson Bay After that the ride was very smooth and fast. Ive made it to Winnipeg and the ride is very bumpy. Some more of my canoe is chipped off. Its currently night time and its been about 5 YEARS As I am talking we are heading down Nelson River. Nelson River is not as bumpy and crazy. There are a bunch of fireflies in the dark sky. By dawn I had made it to Hudson Bay
