Hi my name is Ruby Im a canoe. I want to go to Hudson Bay its one of my goals. Soon I will be released at the Sandhill River so I can go to Hudson Bay. Im finally on my way to Hudson Bay. WOW Its pretty. It is spring and I see so many flowers. WOW It took a long time to get to Beltrami. I went down a waterfall I saw soooo many deer. AAAH A deer picked me up OOF The deer dropped me. Hey look There is a barn. WOAH Someone picked me up And he drove me to a random part of the river and set me into the river. Finally Im in Climax. And its summer All the trees have their leaves. The water is warmer. It is so peaceful. All of the birds are chirping songs. Oh no It is getting windy. The clouds are covering the beautiful sun. It is a storm It slammed me into the rocks. A lady picked me up and kept me safe until the storm was over. She set me back into the river. A few hours have passed. I have made it to the Red River. Now I am on my way to Grand Forks. My red paint has faded away. Ooh I see some boat men. Woah I GOT STUCK AAH Im stuck in the leaves. It is now fall. All of the leaves are falling off the trees. WOOSH The wind saved me. The wind pushed me into Grand Forks. I see so many buildings and there are so many cars. I am on my way to the Pembina Border. BRRR The water is getting cold. It is starting to snow. I have made it to the Pembina Border. I just crossed into Canada. I see walleyes northerns and catfish swimming next to me. I see the fish jumping out of the water too. It is winter now and the water is very cold. I can see the big city of Winnipeg. There are sooooo many cars and soooooo many buildings. It takes me two months to travel to Lake Winnipeg. It is almost spring. The snow is melting. I am on my way to Nelson River. I see lots of rocks sticks and some trash. OH NO A thunder storm. I heard a loud BOOM The storm is getting stronger. It pushes me quickly into the Nelson River. I float along peacefully in the river for about four months. It is now midsummer. I have made it to Hudson Bay It took a little over a year to get here. That was quicker than I expected. It was a fun journey. I really enjoyed seeing all the fish and looking at all the beautiful trees.
