Hi My name is Dolly. I am a canoe that started a journey in the Clearwater River. Let me tell you all about it. I first saw 5 deer and 3 squirrels as I was going to the Red Lake River. As I started down the Red Lake River I became stuck on a pile of rocks and sticks. I was stuck there for days until someone came along and picked me up and read the directions which stated to log how far we had come and to put back into the river to continue my journey. The girl put me back into the river where I floated to Grand Forks and I ran into 3 other canoes from my grade. We decided to stop for some sushi and then we went to the mall to get some warmer clothes for our trip to Canada. We have never been there so we didnt know what kind of weather to expect besides cold and maybe some rain. Next we are on the way to Canada where we plan to make our way to Lake Winnipeg once we make it there we plan on stopping and looking for a map to find our way to the Nelson River. We found one And continued our way to find the Nelson River. Once on the Nelson River we passed a pontoon boat full of crazy kids who were jumping off the boat into the river which pushed me onto a big big rock. One of the girls saw me sitting there and came to see what I was she looked at me funny and threw me back into the river and I was floating super fast towards the Hudson Bay. I made it to the Hudson Bay. It is bigger than I could ever imagine. There are huge ships heading toward Duluth. They are way bigger than me. It is a little creepy. Im hoping to make it to the Atlantic ocean by next month. And I am ready for this trip. On my way to the Atlantic I saw so many different kinds and colors of fish we ran into a huge pod of beluga whales. They were the coolest thing Ive ever seen in my life. They were also kind of scary especially making their high pitch noises. It made me shake in the water. I thought I was going to tip right over. We made it to the Atlantic Ocean it doesn't look much different than the Hudson Bay. There is nothing but water for as far as I can see. I have seen lots of new things and have completed my journey.
