My canoes name is Posiedon. I have many hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it. I hope it will someday reach Athenss acropolis in Greece and New Zealand by way of Hudson Bay. A few days after I launch Posiedon on late may into the Red River from Fargo I hope it will see a rafter of turkeys. Next I hope my canoe gets assaulted by a squirrel. Then I hope it will get to Polk County so I hope it bumps into a fat catfish. Then I hope that my boat will pass some corn and a few kernels will fall into it. Then I hope that it passes a cottonwood tree. Later on as it passes by Grandforks I hope it passes by Lincoln Drive park and a disc golf disc glances off of it which would mean that my boat saves a disc from going in the river. After that I hope my boat passes by some chokeberry trees. Then I hope it passes into Walsh County and runs into Goldeneye. Next I hope my canoe gets to the USCANADA border and passes Morris. After that I hope it sees a cute little turtle. By 2028 I hope it makes it to Winnipeg passes Selkirk and gets to Winnipeg Lake. Then I hope that it sees a herd of bison by the Nelson river. I hope that my boat makes it to Hudson bay from there. Then I hope that since there is corn in my boat a rock pigeon will swoop down and try to eat the corn but then I hope a tundra peregrine falcon tries to swoop down and eat the rock pigeon but accidentally grabs the boat instead. I hope by the end of 2032 the falcon brings my canoe all the way to the acropolis at Athens. After it stays there for a while I hope that my canoe falls off of the acropolis and lands on a truck with a shipping container on it. Then I hope that the truck goes to a shipping yard and the container gets loaded onto a huge cargo ship. I hope the cargo ship crosses the Mediterranean sea and docks in Port Said. After that I hope the cargo crate gets loaded onto another boat thats smaller and goes from Port Said to Great Bitter lake and from there to the Gulf of Suez and then there to the Red Sea. From there I hope my boat goes through the Bab alMandab Strait and catches a ride on a whale shark all the way to the Palk strait between Sri lanka and the indian mainland. I hope my canoe gets dropped off at the bay of bengal. I hope it floats all the way down to the Andaman sea and through the Straits of Malacca. I hope my canoe makes it to the Java sea and down to the banda sea through the arafura sea and down through the coral sea. I hope by 2040 my canoe makes it to New Zealand because I want my boat to see a kiwi bird.
