I am Zoomy the canoe and when I get launched from the Red River in Fargo on May 6 2026. I hope I get to see an oak tree as I pass Oak Grove Lutheran School. If I look to the left I should see Clay County. A little while later I want to see a turkey getting chased by a deer. When I turn my head I hope to see beautiful sugar beets right outside Grand Forks. I hope I get to Grand Forks County and when I get there I hope I get to see my aunt. As I zoom downstream closer to the border between the USA and Canada I hope a bald eagle picks me up and sets me back on the river next to a chokeberry tree. As I go into Canada I hope a black bear picks up me thinking I was a fish and throws it back into the river. I hope In 4 years I have reached Winnipeg. By the winter I hope it reaches Lake Winnipeg. In the lake I hope an Ice fisherman pushes my canoe under the water by accident. I hope a bass cod and salmon keep pushing me around underneath the ice. When the ice starts to thaw I hope the current pushes me into the Nelson River. As in the Nelson River I hope to see a whitetailed Fox jump over me and push me into Hudson Bay. I hope a polar bear bumps over me. I want to be swimming around Hudson Bay for at least two years and then I want to go through the islands to get to the ocean. When I'm in the ocean I hope I go all the way over to the Bering Strait over Alaska and Russia. I hope I travel along the coast of Russia and make my way over to Japan. Once I get to Japan I want to head all the way over to New Zealand. I want to be stuck on the shore for a little bit to take a break. But then once I'm done I want to end up in Antarctica where I want to remain for the rest of my life.
