My name is Carrot and I am a wooden canoe. I have many hopes and dreams for where I will go canoeing once I get launched. I hope someday to reach Italy by the way of the Hudson Bay. When I launch Carrot into the Red River from Fargo I hope I will enjoy my journey starting in May of 2026. I first fell into the river ready for my journey ahead. I was zooming down the red river bass jumping out of the water. One of the bass jumped on top of me and the bass pulled me down with it. There were channel catfish everywhere.Thankfully I am made out of light wood that floats. I popped back up to the surface and kept going. I went past a really long patch of wheat fields. I saw a vole burrowing itself into the ground. It was an awesome sight. I saw a baby elm tree that was just starting to grow. A little bit away from the elm there was a great big cottonwood tree. Swarming with squirrels they were fighting over a chip that had fallen from a tourist. There was a channel catfish that was trying to catch food and was bumping into me and it was flinging me everywhere. I got hit onto a stitch with a snail in it. The snail attached itself to me and rode with me. There also were some really big Walleyes. I finally have made it to Grand Forks. It felt like ages. I have been on the water for about a month. Once I got past Grand Forks city the first thing I saw was a turtle. I saw a dove and it looked really cool with its feathers. Walsh County and Pembina County seemed to go really fast and seemed so small when they really were not. Finally I crossed the border from the US to Canada right away. We were in the city and there were people celebrating good times the city was called Emerson. Bald Eagle came and picked me up. It flew with me until we reached Winnipeg. Once I reached Lake Winnipeg I floated through the lake. Then I reached the Nelson river. There was a leach that thought I was an animal. It attached to the side of me and eventually it fell off. Once I reached the nelson river I saw a really big log sticking out of the river. I was going fast to where I hit it and I flew into the air. I reached the Hudson bay and then floated all the way to the arctic ocean. Then a boat came and picked me up and I had no Idea where I was going. I saw a lot of cargo ships along the way. We crossed the Atlantic ocean. Then the Mediterranean sea and then we were in Italy just where I wanted to go.
