My canoe's name is the goose. I will launch my canoe May 2026 at Oak Grove down the Red River.I hope my canoe reaches Hudson Bay someday. Then there it was my canoe was off on its big Journey after a couple days I'm just drifting calmly through the river it would come along a turkey the turkey would stare at it But then eventually the turkey would just run away not long after the turkey a catfish would spring out of the water and hit my canoe and turn it on its side.I was on my side waiting if I would even turn over to my base again but then suddenly I saw geese picked me up and pecked at me a little bit and then so It wasn't a fish and it dropped back in the water. Then I started to see some ripples in the water and to my surprise it was a pike. Pike was swimming next to me in front of me behind me and on the sides. Then after a couple days or so I finally reached my first city other than Fargo and Grand Forks just a little bit past Grand Forks I moved into a new County the County of Polk. I started to notice that the seasons starting to change from more to spring to summer and all around me gorgeous oak trees started to blossom. Then I heard a crack of a tree branch And to my surprise it was a great big moose just as I was crossing the border from Polk County to Kittson County. Just a little while later I finally crossed the border from the USA to Canada just a little bit inside the Canada border. A walleye just spraying out of the water brought me to the water and fell back into the water. Irish cruising along remembering all the great animals I've seen over this journey but then suddenly I hear a big splash and a deer rose up from the water. Then I noticed he was trying to catch a partridge that was just flying a little bit above the river. Madness went on for a pretty long time but after it finally stopped I rode along again before coming along a beaver making his dam. I looked around me I saw lush fields of corn . Maple trees are a beautiful landscape building started to show and then I found myself in my second City on this journey to Winnipeg. I'll tell you Winnipeg is a big city I passed it just a little bit after I reached my third City Morris . As I was beginning to leave the Red River it started to become bigger as I moved into Winnipeg Lake. After a couple days of drifting along Winnipeg Lake the lake started to become tinier as I moved into the Nelson River. Just like a day or so of drifting down the Nelson River I finally made it to my destination Hudson Bay.
