My canoes name is Blue Slush. I have a lot of hopes and dreams for my canoe once I launch it in the Red River. I hope it will make it to the Blue Lagoon by way of Hudson Bay. It will start its journey in May of 2026 in Fargo in the Red River and end up in the Blue Lagoon. Along the way it will pass a group of small mouth bass and some choke cherry trees around Fargo Moorhead and enjoy the ride past the sugar beets on its way to Trail County. Blue Slush will see wild turkeys on the side of the River bank being chased by white tailed deer and northern pike swimming past on its way to Grand Forks East Grand Forks. Once Blue Slush passes through Grand Forks it will head North through Drayton in Pembina County and see the maple trees by the historic Riverboat landing. Blue Slush will be heading North into Canada passing through the Pembina Emerson Border Crossing and seeing blue jays flying by in their formation. As Blue Slush winds through the forest looks over to find bears sitting on the River bank waiting to catch walleye. Heading even farther North into Winnipeg Blue Slush travels hundreds of miles and empties into Lake Winnipeg where it can see foxes running and chasing each other. Blue Slush flows and leaves Lake Winnipeg through the Nelson River seeing swans on its way to Hudson Bay. Once Blue Slush makes it to Hudson Bay it exits through Hudson Strait then crosses the Labrador Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean and excitedly arrives at the Blue Lagoon in Iceland 6 months later
