My name Kal and I'm in a canoe taking an adventure down the Tongue River hoping to reach the Hudson Bay. Along my way I'm sure there will be many stops to meet new friends and see all kinds of different scenery and wildlife. Today is the day that I get launched. I've ventured my way to the Tongue River in Akra. It's a bright beautiful day out. I see all kinds of green ash cottonwood and boxelder as I'm sailing down the river. To my left I see a busy beaver building his dam and an old looking snapping turtle waddling down the grass to the water and an otter. My next stop will be in Pembina at the Pembina river. This seems like a lovely place to stop and look around at all the different trees black spruce American elm and aspen.Wow I just saw a beaver like I did when I passed through the last town. As I made my way down the river I saw a mallard duck busy swimming in the water white tailed deer and a coyote.Next up is the Red River in St. Vincent where I will stop for a short time as I'm so excited to try and make my way to the Hudson Bay. As I'm canoeing down the Red I see a big silver maple green ash and a blossoming chokecherry tree. I should stop and pick some as my tummy is growling but I will keep going. A little further down the river I saw a pheasant loon and a gray squirrel. I've never seen one of those before so that was cool to see. This trip has been so fun and exciting seeing so many different trees and animals. But I must push on to the Hudson Bay.Well it's getting late and kinda dark but I see a sign that says Winnipeg MB so the Hudson Bay is close I'm so happy to have made it without any problems. I've oared my canoe onto land and need to get out and stretch my legs. I wonder what I should do first sleep or take an adventure. I'm going exploring as there is so much to see all the trees like white spruce black spruce and tamarack. I see lots of animals too like Canadian geese moose and caribou. I would love to keep exploring but I'm tired from my long trip so I'm going to get some rest. Goodnight
