Canoe 26RD1478
On a sunny spring day a young boy had a small canoe. The canoe was covered in a bright mix of colors and different patterns. It had zig zags lines and different shapes. The boy was in a small town called Mahnomen in Mahnomen there was a river called the Wild Rice River. The boy and his class were at the river. Everyone had a canoe so everyone got ready to toss their canoe into the river so the boy got ready and launched his canoe into the river. The canoe was off ready to start its journey. The canoe was flowing down the river slowly and smoothly but then a giant wave approached and struck the canoe pushing it under water for a few seconds. The canoe came back up seconds later but the river was flowing fast now. The nasty current jerked and pulled the canoe back and forth up stream. Then the water slowed down a little bit and the canoe was approaching the confluence. The confluence went into the Red River the river that splits up North Dakota and Minnesota and the canoe was small but it could get through the Red River. The canoe was moving nice and fast keeping up with the waves and the flow. Suddenly the canoe smashed into a giant rock denting the canoe slightly and there were more rocks. The canoe got stuck in the rocks no where to go. A year and a half later the fish were jumping the leaves were falling and the birds were migrating. The river current pushed the canoe unstuck and the canoe was back on track. The canoe glided down the river pacing with the fast waves. Well the canoe was moving slowly a group of kayakers approached the canoe and picked it up. One of the kayakers put it on the front of the boat and glided down the river. Hours later they arrived at lake winnipeg and they let the canoe go. The canoe floated around the lake. Months passed and the canoe washed up on shore. And so it sat there and for hours and hours waiting for the waves to push it back into the water but then a beaver picked it up and used it to build its dam.
