On a beautiful spring day in a little town called Mahnomen behind Shooting Star Casino an eager canoe started its journey.The little canoe started its journey by getting flung into the Wild Rice River on its journey to the ocean. It wanted to see a beaver on the Red River a walleye in Lake Winnipeg and finally a seal in the Arctic Ocean but it knew it would be a very long trip so it decided to make a few more things to look forward to like going to see the people in East Grand Forks and the people in Grand Forks. It wanted to see Winnipeg and hopefully people getting ready to fish and finally wanted to see a little white museum on Nelson River.The canoe was hoping to be found by a little boy and to be taken in by him for the winter. It hopes to be well cared for and have its own little bed but by the end of the winter no changes have been made to the color when it continues its journey. When the canoe reaches one of its destinations put a star on it.And finally once the canoe reaches the ocean you can truly call it by its name that it earned Journey with the Wild.
