My Journey to Lake Winnipeg
When I got put into the Sandhill River by Fertile, MN. I was so excited for the trip to lake Winnipeg. After I was in the water I got to see cool sunfish. As I went down the river I saw a lot of different color birds.
I traveled to Beltrami quickly. I even got to see a tractor planting. When I saw that tractor I knew it was Spring. As I went through Beltrami I saw the elevator. There were also a lot of trucks hauling grain.
Soon, I flowed into the Red River. As I went down the river I saw five deer. I also saw a red robbin. Under the water, I got to see one more sunfish. After one day I saw a pack of wolves.
Then, I went through Grand Forks. I got to see a lot of tall buildings. BOOM!!!!! I crashed into a log in the water. Then, I went out of
Grand Forks. I saw a woods with only oak trees. After three days I went into Canada.
As I was in Canada, I got picked out of the water by two fishermen. They looked at me and SPLASH!
I got dropped back in the water.
So-far the journey to lake Winnipeg has been as slow as a turtle. But, that is not stopping me from getting to lake Winnipeg.
After a night with big waves I made it to Winnipeg. I was excited to be in a big city. The first thing I saw was big buildings.
After Winnipeg, I got to Lake Winnipeg. I have accomplished my goal of paddle to the sea
