Dream “Come on in the waters calm”, I called to Cedar. A little wary, Cedar drifted into the water. She doesn’t want to go it alone. “How will I do this by myself? What if I don’t make it?”, she thought. First let’s get you settled. Feel the coolness of the water, the breeze at your back, and the sun shining down on you. You are not alone; you have all this to guide you. Oh, what an amazing adventure you will have and a perfect time of year to set sail. The trees are turning color and fall is approaching. During the day you’ll be able to watch the people travel along the bike path. Families biking and dogs running. Everyone enjoying being outside while it lasts. In the evenings the deer will come. They’ll drink from the river and graze on the grass. The fish might pop up to say hello. The birds will be curious about you too. They may fly over head or come down for a closer look. Don’t worry, they just want to get to know you a little more. The sun will guide your day and the moon by night. Don’t be afraid of the dark, you’ll be surprised at how much you can see. Lastly, always remember that good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient, and the best things come to those who don’t give up (Unknown). Safe travels Cedar. Traditional Navajo Prayer: Now I walk in beauty, beauty is before me, beauty is behind me, above and below me.
