||This is a story about Strength who is a little wooden canoe. His journey began on the shores of the Red River in Grand Forks North Dakota. His goal was to reach the Hudson Bay and then eventually into the Atlantic Ocean. Strength was made for a project called River of Dreams, which is a group that goes around to different schools and teaches them about the Red River Basin. During this project, the students get to make canoes. The students get to launch their canoes into the Red River and track them to see where they end up.When I was launched I made it almost to Winnipeg before a problem. The problem was that I got stuck in a beaver dam just south of Winnipeg. I was stuck for 4 days and eventually a sauger comes up and hits me out of the dam because it thought I was food. About 75 miles north, I got picked up by a moose and carried for a few miles, and then he set me down up on the shore. I sat there for a few days then a goose came next to me and took a nap. When she woke up, she flapped her wings, which sent me flying into the river. A few months later, I made it to the Hudson Bay and eventually into the Atlantic Ocean. I’m now adrift in the Atlantic Ocean. I have been adrift for 2 more years now.
