||My canoe starts her journey at the Red River. My canoe’s name is Jovi because the name means a brave personality. Along the way my canoes meets many animals, such as beavers, catfish and white tailed deer. The beaver takes Jovi along shores to his small dam. Many days later, Jovi is washed up to the shores out of the dam, where she is found by a white tailed deer searching for food. She is then moved out of the mud back on track to Lake Winnipeg. Many weeks later, Jovi is flung up into the air several feet because of a catfish making a big splash. This helps her because it gets her farther even though it she did go high up in the air. Along the way, my canoe faces a few challenges. She gets stuck in the mud, but due to high levels of rainfall she is back on track and out of the mud. Another challenge she faces is that she is taken to the small beaver dam, like I said above. Again, she is saved by the white tailed deer. In the very end, Jovi ends up at Lake Winnipeg, which is roughly 373 miles from the Red River.
