||My canoe’s name is Hototo. This is my canoes name because it is the Native American word for Warrior and in order to reach its final destination of the York Factory on Hudson Bay it will have to overcome many challenges H be strong like a warrior. By starting in the Red River in Grand Forks, North Dakota. My canoe came in contact with a polar bear and moose along its journey. Then Hototo reached the border between the United States and Canada but since he was floating by at night the lights from the border patrol officers spotted him and took him out of the water. The officers inspected Hototo making sure he was safe to cross and after looking at the code inside the canoe and seeing he was a childrens boat the officer place him back in the water on the other side of the border.Once reaching Lake Winnipeg there was a huge storm which beached Hototo on the shore for 3 weeks. After being beached there was yet another storm which waves were so large that it lifted him of the shore and threw him back into the water leaving a small hole in the side.My canoe came in contact with a moose right after it had crossed Lake Winnipeg. My canoe had been banked yet again by a large wave near the end of Lake Winnipeg and was trapped there. A moose and its calf saw me laying in the dirt and walked over to Hototo, while looking at him the moose got its antlers stuck inside me leaving a large hole. The moose was frightened and shook its head until Hototo flew off and landed in the water. The moose helped Hototo because the hole was not large enough to sink me but helped me move quicker through the water which sped up my journey. My canoe met a polar bear right before it reaches its final destination and is making its way through polar bear country. My canoe is floating through polar bear country and is about to pass through some white water rapids. My canoe is flowing past and a polar bear happens to kick my canoe with it’s large feet as its crossing the river. My canoe ends up being kicked all the way across the river and landing in the snow right where the polar bear is sleeping with its family. One day when the rapids were fast and high one picked me up and brought me back into the water so I finished my journey and reached York Factory where I was branded.
