I imagine my canoe will travel all the way to Hudson Bay or even further. My canoe’s adventure will start at the Elm River. I want my canoe to meet lots of wildlife and many other animals. I hope my canoe will meet a polar bear and a walrus in the Hudson Bay. My canoe’s name is August. I decided to name her August because that is when my birthday is and that’s when summer is. We are really missing summer here in North Dakota. I hope August travels as far as she can and has lots of fun and makes lots of memories. I hope that August doesn’t get stuck and will flow all the way through the Red River. I hope August’s journey will at least take her past Canada. I hope many people will meet August and help her along her journey to the Hudson Bay. One special thing I hope August completes is meet a Canadian! I would love to visit Canada! One thing I hope August doesn’t do is SINK! If you would like to please sign your name on my canoe anywhere you would like. Then please return her to the waters so she can continue on her journey!
