Dream My name is HugaBuga. I will start I Crookston, MN and try to make it to Hudson Bay, Canada. Right now I’m on my way to Fisher. So far I’ve seen fish and deer. Oh goodness, I just left Fisher. It’s not actually too bad here. Seeing all these animals are so cool. I’ve seen must of 100 animals. (3 months later) It’s fall now, I just saw a bear. He’s coming towards Me. I'm so scared! Don’t grab me!!!! AHHHHHHHH, he grabs me and I am now in his mouth. Finally, after shaking me a bunch, he does put me down I need to stay in the water so I can make It to Hudson Bay. Where are they going? (5 minutes later) What are these kids doing in here? These kids decide to pick me up and check me out. I keep on thinking, “please put me back in the water! Please, please put me back in the water! I need to make it to Hudson Bay.” If I don’t, the bear may try and eat me and will break me. Then I can’t make it to Hudson Bay. I’ll have to stay HERE FOREVER!!! I don’t want to stay here. I can’t see all the beautiful things as I travel if I stay here. Finally, the kiddos put me back in the water. “Thank you so much,” I think. I’m back on my way to Hudson Bay. I keep on thinking, “wow it’s so beautiful.” After many twists and turns I finally end up in Grand Forks. Grand Forks is a lot bigger than Crookston. (10 days later) It’s so cold, I think that winter is about to arrive. What are these white things that are falling from the sky. “Why is the wind picking up?” I think this is what they call winter. The water is getting colder and ice is beginning to form. (3 months later) AHHHH, I’M STUCK in the ice! The warm sun continues to shine and after many days and nights I hear large cracking noises. What could it be? I feel the cold water running over my bow. The ice is finally melting. My journey continues. On my journey, I saw an old friend named The North Star. He said he was going to the same place, but then all of a sudden the wind blows and the current begins to split us apart. There are many twists and turns but I think I’m finally in Canada yet I still have to make it tough the Canadian border. Will they stop me or will I get to float on by. What are theses people doing? Why are there boats here? I make it into Canada. Weeeeeeeeeeee, the current begins to flow faster and faster. Here I go! I continue to float even though I am so tired. I finally see many buildings and people. Can I be in Winnipeg? Yes, I think I am. I continue to go over some rapids. There are sharp rocks. I am slowing down... Ahhh.. I’m stuck on the rocks. (8 days later) a large rain falls and the river rises. I am finally able to get off the rock the waves are so rough, I just left Winnipeg .(3 hours later) the waves have clam down (3 days later) I’m finally in lake Winnipeg. Look at all the boats here comes one. What is that thing on his boat it caught me. What is going on, I keep getting pulled under the water. Hmmm. They must be pulling me now. Yep, they are pulling me in. Then the boy says, “can I keep him?” Then his dad read the bottom of me and said “we have to put him back in the water.” So glad to be back on my journey to Hudson Bay. The water was rough for many days as I rode the waves. Finally I enter Lake Winnipeg. There were many boats and people around. A stranger picks me up out of the water and sees that my final destination I would like to be is at Hudson Bay. After the people have a long discussion, I hear them say, “lets take this canoe to Hudson Bay and make its dreams come true.” I am shocked and in awe. They wrap me in a cozy blanket and after a long rest, I am blinded by bright lights. Then, I see it! It is so beautiful. They put me down and tell me I have arrived at my final destination- The Hudson Bay. I finally made it. Then I see Northern Star. He is shocked to see me as I say, “hi” and we begin to share about the journeys we both had.
